The Government took back the sports and cultural center, the fountains and the stairs located in Tsisernakaberd Park in Yerevan, as well as the adjacent lands provided for the maintenance of the complex, which were under the directorate of the RA Ministry of Defense and attached it to the “Staff of the State Property Management Department adjunct to the RoA Government” State” State Government Institution.
According to the package, approval of the Draft was stipulated by the need for implementation of the common policy on better management of the state property and ensuring the funding of “Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex” Non Commercial State Organization” in 2016.
Following the presentation of the Draft, the Prime Minister instructed to be more attentive to the problem. He also said that the management of the NSCO, which coordinates the activities of the complex, should be changed to ensure more effective management.
