At today’s consultation held at the RA Government under the presidency of the RA Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, the Chairman of the RA Control Chamber Ishkhan Zakaryan reported about the results of the studies conducted in Kotayk and Aragatsotn regions and the identified breaches that took place in the Territorial Agencies of Social Services of the regions.
Ishkhan Zakaryan informed that 4 Territorial Agencies of Social Services operate in Kotayk marz: Abovyan, Hrazdan, Charentsavan and Yeghvard.The Marz has 9912 beneficiaries. The Control Chamber studied the cases of 6753 families from the total number of 9912 beneficiary families and revealed 230 violations of the sum of 27mil 200k. AMD.
Speaking about Aragatsotn marz, Ishkhan Zakaryan said that there are 4 SSTAs in Ashtarak, Aparan, Talin and Tsakhahovit with 7769 beneficiary families.
Ishkhan Zakarian said that he received corresponding letters form the Governors. They assured that the major part of the violations were corrected, funds were returned to the state budget and all inaccuracies have been removed from the beneficiary list.
“I welcome the decision of the Chairman of Control Chamber to conduct inspections in Social Services of all Marzes. I think that we have to make reasonable decisions”- said Hovik Abrahamyan.
The Prime Minister authorized the Governors and the RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs to present recommendations for people who perform violation for appropriate decisions, as well as take steps towards making SSTA’s activities transparent and excluding violations.
