Today, the third court hearing of the case on the murder of Avetisyan family started in the area of Russian Military Base in Gyumri. Though, Yerem Yeranosyan and Yervand Varosyan, the representatives of the successors of the aggrieved, were not present at the hearing, the court session continued: the successors of the aggrieved didn’t object to continuing the hearing in under such conditions.
During today’s court hearing, the defendant Valeri Permyakov expressed his attitude towards the charges filed against him. He considered himself guilty in all the charges.
Mihran Poghosyan, the representative of the successor of the aggrieved filed a motion to the court so that the latter demand the Russian side to present the documents of the investigation of that case in order to attach them to the Armenian case. Lusine Sahakyan, the representative of the successor of the aggrieved, also filed a motion to the court to demand information from the Russian side to find out whether they have initiated criminal cases against other people for sending Permyakov to military service and providing him weapons. The court, under the presiding judge Harutyun Movsesyan, postponed the consideration of the motions.
The questioning of the witnesses also began during this court hearing.
