On 23 November, 2015, the CSOs group of Shirak marz of CSOs’ Anti-Corruption Coalition met in the discussion on “Manifestations of Corruption in Shirak Region and Fight against it”
During the discussion, CSOs presented the issues of their concern that most often occur in Shirak region. Distinguishing the forms of corruption of “upper” and “lower” levels, during the debate, it was mentioned once again that the only possible way to reduce corruption could be strong and powerful demonstration of political will and intolerance. Successful experience of the neighboring, European and Asian countries was presented as a prototype.
Taking into consideration that the representatives of young generation were also present at the meeting, it was noted that consistency of surveillance ove the implementation of law will be the key for the disclosure of corruption risks.
