The sensational case on the appropriation of significant amount of money at the Boarding School of Byureghavan is already at court. “Datalex” judiciary portal reports about this.
According to the charges, in the period of 1 October 2007 to 2 May 2014, the former Director Gayane Margaryan continued occupying the position of the headmaster of “Byureghavan Children’s Care and Protection Boarding School” SNCO, being an official, having joint criminal intention of the appropriation of significant amount of money and using her official authorities during the period of 2004-2014, has drawn up false employment contracts with people not implementing actual work without having the intention of hiring them, and from September 2007, she has instructed the HR Manager of the company Araks Hovsepyan to draw up false contracts with 16 people not implementing actual work. She herself approved the false contracts and decreed 16 people not attending the work in the institution.
Then she instructed Araks Hovsepyan to include the data of those people in the timetable and to compile forged official documents on calculation of the working time. She signed the false documents compiled with the assistance of Araks Hovsepyan. Then with the assistance of Parandzem Martirosyan she has drawn up false official documents of wage calculation and significant amount of 36.535.970 AMD has been withdrawn and squandered from money transferred to SNCO from the state budget in the name of the above-mentioned people. She has withdrawn and appropriated 11,669,023 AMD having prior agreement with the chief accountant of the company Parandzem Martirosyan, and has appropriated 4.190.572 AMD personally in this way having prior agreement and assistance with Parandzem Martirosyan. With the assistance of Araks Hovsepyan she has appropriated significant amount of 15,859,595 AMD entrusted to her as well.
The case has been considered at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kotayk Region under the presiding judge Hovhannes Avagyan. The case was taken to court on 12 November and a session has not been appointed yet.
Gayane Margaryan is arrested and a signature not to leave the country has been chosen as a preventive measure towards the other defendants.
