38-year-old Hayk K. has appeared in the court for the infliction of a grave injury. The case is considered at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Armavir Region under the presiding judge Vahe Khalatyan.
Pursuant to the indictment, on 14 August of this year, he was lying on the bed of the bedroom of his house. His 9-year-old son, who was sitting on the same bed, contradicted him. And he intentionally hit the child once on the left part of the abdomen with his right leg, and inflicted a life-threatening grave injury in the form of ruptures of the left lobe of liver and omentum and internal bleeding.
Hayk has been charged under the requirements of Article 112 (part 1) of the Criminal Code, which establishes imprisonment for the term of 3 to 7 years as a punishment for this action. A signature not to leave the country has been chosen as a preventive measure towards him.
