The news agency Ria Novosti reports that the tragic bus accident in Tula happened because the driver fell asleep at the wheel. This announcement was made by the RF Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Alexander Savekov.
“One of the causes of the increase of traffic accidents in the sphere of passenger and cargo transportation is that the drivers violate the work and leisure modes. This problem exists everywhere. Even if we observe the cases of recent days and the deadly bus crash in Tula we will see the same reason here as well: The driver just fell asleep at the wheel,” said A. Savekov.
