Training Courses for the judges and advocates are conducted in the Academy of Justice based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the Academy of Justice and the Chamber of Advocates on 7 March 2015; the Public Relations Department of the Academy informs.
According to the source, during the training conducted last week the students of the joint course had an opportunity to discuss the current issues of the RA Criminal Procedure, including the problems of judicial supervision of the pre-trial proceedings. In the context of the constitutional reforms that currently are in process in the Republic of Armenia, a special emphasis on the problems that exist in the mentioned above stage of the criminal proceeding and their solution was put. The solutions are aimed at ensuring the balance of the public and private interests in the criminal proceeding.
It is envisaged that such training will be conducted on a regular basis
