RA Road Police officer Gevorg Ch. has reported that on 18 September 2015, at around 23:55, the car “BMW 735” was sent to the Road Police Department 1 (penalty area) for violating traffic rules. Driver Arman T. refused to pass a medical examination to determine the level of sobriety. He tore the medical protocol into pieces, and shouted profanities at the police officers and the doctor, both inside the police department and in front of it, roughly violating public order.
Regarding the same case, Arman T. has reported that road police officer Gevorg Ch. and some other officers used violence towards him for tearing up the protocol of the doctor and hit him with hands and feet in different parts of his body causing him physical damage.
The criminal case initiated under Article 258, Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code in the Investigative Division of Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of the Investigative Department of Yerevan of the RA Investigative Committee has been sent to the RA Special Investigative Service.
The Special Investigative Service informs that the preliminary investigation is underway.
