In the interview with Iravaban.net, Gor Ghlechyan, the responsible person for Public Relations of the Penitentiary Department of the Ra Ministry of Justice informed that since 19 October, the authorities of the head of “Vardashen” penitentiary, Manuk Poghosyan were temporarily suspended.
He also reported that the authorities of Manuk Poghosyan were stopped based on the motion of the investigative body and added he had no information about the criminal case and the preliminary investigation body. We can only assume that the criminal case over Manuk Poghosyan may have been initiated by the Special Investigation Service.
It is not clear, as well; to what term his authorities have been stopped. Notably, Manuk Poghosyan was appointed to his position this year on March 18.
