According to the RA Government Decision No 1064-N, Vayots Dzor regional administration will be allocated 29 million AMD to pay debts incurred in previous years and to support the development activities of Jermuk City. Such draft decision was submitted to the Government session on October 22.
The money will be allocated to Jermuk community of Vayots Dzor region on the basis of subsidy provision contract.
It is noted that the the approval of the draft is necessary for Jermuk city to pay debts incurred in previous years ( 24 million AMD, 14 million of which is the municipality’s debt to “Electric Networks of Armenia” CJSC, 8 million AMD to the city’s solid waste management and sanitation and 1.1 million AMD to “Gazprom Armenia” CJSC) and in the 2015 budget deficit with partial covering which composes 16 million AMD and appeared regularly over the years due to implementation of the city’s community sanitation, long-term energy for heating and street lighting costs.
