Nikolay Bagdasaryan doesnot understand how can the member of Chamber of Advocates of the Republic of Armenia, being a lawyer demand something which is unacceptable for any lawyer. Yesterday, the members of the Mamber issued an announcement. They asked Nikolay Baghdasaryan what links the lawyer with Paylak Fahradyan, and whether the latter is his client.
‘’Now I am calling on the Chamber to stop this approach. On the one hand, they say, let’s have a dialogue, to which I agree, on the other hand, they are trying to prove that Ara Zohrabyan has nothing to do with this and that is offensive to me. Instead of finding a solution we are trying to justify a negative phenomenon. Let the members of the Chamber know that Nikolay Bagdasaryan can raise other 30 questions as well, to which no one has answers. As Nikolay Bagdasaryan keeps silence , please be so kind and don’t buzz. Otherwise I shall raise other questions on the daily basis,” said the lawyer in the interview with iravaban.net.
In his oppinion, the solution to this situation is not just targeting to concrete lawers but the revealing the definite problems in order to prevent such situations recur.” If people complain that the judicial system is not officient, it is necessary to find out the causes of what is incorrect. I suggest that we four: Ara, Lusine, Yervand and me think and decide what to do” Mr. Bagdasaryan said.
Speaking of the current situation in the Chamber of Advocates, he said that one of the reasons is that the whole power de jure is concentrated in Ara Zohrabyan’s hands and recommended not to hide the reality and present the situation in the right colors. At the end he added that they haven’t come against anyone, they have just pointed out a number of problems that need to be solved.
