Today, 45 life prisoners have stopped the hunger strike. As we had informed, they had gone on hunger strike on 12 October demanding to review their criminal cases.
Yesterday, on 15 October the relatives of the life prisoners who gathered in front of the Government building were demanding the same.
Gor Ghlechyan, Head of the Public Relations Department of Penitentiary Department at the RA Ministry of Justice informed that the hunger strike in “Nubarashen” penitentiary has stopped. The health condition of te prisoners is satisfactory.
