Revenues of the former Chief of Police and the current Advisor to the RA President Alik Sargsyan have increased in the last two years according to his declaration on income and assets. Notably, in 2008 Alik Sargsyan was appointed to the post of the Chief of Police of the RA and in 2011 he was appointed to the post of the Advisor to the President.
Below is the information on his revenues for the past 4 years according to the declarations that he submitted.
In 2011, Alik Sargsyan funds amounted to 120 million AMD and 70 million USD, which remained unchanged at the end of the year. Income for the fiscal year amounted to 5 million 517 thousand AMD.
In 2012, Alik Sargsyan’s funds did not change as compared with the previous year, and remained the same 120 million AMD and 70 million USD: Whereas the income decreased by 2 million AMD and totaled to 3 million 547 thousand AMD.
In 2013, the Presidential Adviser’s funds as well as the income substantially increased. At the beginning of the year the funds amounted to 120 million AMD and 70 thousand USD, by the end of the year the funds totaled to was 146 million AMD.
In 2013 Alik Sargsyan received 8.4 million AMD as remuneration for labor, and 18.4 million AMD income from other civil contracts. The total income was around 27 million AMD.
In 2014, he purchased an apartment worth 72 million AMD. He also took a loan of 60 million AMD, which he returned in the same fiscal year.
At the beginning of 2014 the funds amounted to 146 million AMD. At the end of the year they totaled to 130 million AMD and 54 thousand USD. This year the income has increased substantially as well . Sargsyan received around 5.7 million AMD as remuneration for labor, and also 25.8 million AMD income from other unidentified sources. The total income amounted to 31 million.
Alik Sargsyan’s spouse Anahit Sargsyan in 2011 had 7 million AMD and 6500 USD. She had no income during the fiscal year. In 2012 there were no changes in the declaration. Whereas in 2013 her funds grew up to 7 million AMD. Anahit Sargsyan declared a similar sum in 2014 as well.
It is interesting how Anahit Sargsyan’s cash resources increased if she had no income during those years.
