As we have already informed clashes took place between the the police and the political and civil activists of the “No” Movement who are against the Constitutional changes, and a number of persons were arrested. Advocate Tigran Yegoryan, is among the arrested as well. Currently he is in Arabkir Police Department.
“First, there were not any clashes. Everyone stood quietly when police came onto the sidewalk and began arresting people. It was unexpected for me, as they grasped me as well and and took into the car without any explanation or justification,” T. Yegoryan said that a certain Major of Police Karapetyan said that they were standing on the traffic lane and hindering the movement. But the advocate insists that they were on the pavement.
To our question whether there were any actions taken against him, Yegoryan said that he was in a room and no other actions were taken against him. He added that there wasn’t even a protocol compiled.
