Today, the court session on “Vernisage” case began 3 minutes late at the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kentron and Nork Marash Administrative Districts of Yerevan City. The court session was attended by the defense party, the prosecutor, and the defendants Valerik Hovhannisyan and Nerses Melkonyan.
Defendant Gor Arakelyan was not present. Nubarashen Penitentiary notified that the defendant’s health condition was worsened and he was unable to attend.
Gor Aarakelyan’s defender Yerem Sargsyan did not attend the trial as he was in one of the marzes to conduct urgent investigation actions.
The trial was postponed. The participants in the courtroom were expressing their dissatisfaction in about the fact of the appointing the next court hearing too late. “Will you finish this year?” “You’ve turned the trial a comedy!” However, considering the work load of the parties the court decided to consider the case on 20 October.
