Today the Court of general jurisidction of Arabkir and Kanaker-Zeytun Communities of Yerevan continued the examination of the accusation against doctors Lilit Vardanyan and Zarine Ayvazyan accused of the death of 2,5-year-old Lia Misakyan.
Two medical experts were questioned at the court, and they have also implemented double criminal-medical examination.
They concluded that the reason of Lia Misakyan`s death is the impairment of immune cells, and the child`s immune cells were 18 and not 5000, which is quite a low number. Experts clarified that number of cells lower than 500 is already quite dangerous for life.
So the experts considered this as a cause of death. The experts also stated that some medical ommissions have been registered as well, “But these are not enough to connect child`s death with the doctors”, said Zarine Ayvazyan`s defender Erem Sargsyan.
The advocate was resented by the behaviour of the judge and the accusing prosecutor. ” I don`t see jurisprudence here at the court, I see another activity here in the place of legal activities”.
