9 candidates for Armenia`s judge at the ECHR have already passed the interview, as a constituent of the competition process.
Just now Davit Hakobyan, full member of the WTA, Legal counselor at the NGO of “Protection of the rights of tax-payers and entrepreneurs” finished his interview. Constitutional Court Counselor Yeghishe Kirakosyan is now being interviewed.
Interviews are scheduled for 3 stages, during the first of which the candidates should speak of their personal data, in the second phase the professional abilities are to be checked, and the 3-rd is to check conduct of languages. 30 minutes are envisaged for the 1st stage, 40 minutes per second and third stages. Interviews should be conducted within 3 days.
Candidates will be evaluated with a system of 100 grades, 20 for personal characteristics, 55 for professional abilities and maximum 25 for languages.
Grades of the candidates will be published after competition ends. The commission will also announce the names of 3 candidates with the highest grades.
