The stage of interviews for Armenia`s judge candidates for the ECHR hasn`t started yet, and the number of candidates becomes less with 1. “Fidelity Consulting” CJSC partner-manager Armen Melkumyan won`t continue the fight for the position. We get informed on this by the RA Ministry of Justice press secretary Tsovinar Khachatryan. “He refused to take part in the interview, and so he stays out of the competition”, informed Mrs Khachatryan.
Let us remind that 14 candidates have applied for the position, one of who – Armen Sarvaryan was left out of the competition not coping up with the stage of documents, and Armen Melkumyan refused to take part in further proceedings.
