According to information of “Zhamanak” daily, recently Gagik Harutyunyan, President of Constitutional Court met with the Gagik Tsarukyan, the Leader of “Prosperous Armenia” Political Party. Notably Gagik Harutyunyan was the initiator of the meeting
The newspaper writes that the only issue discussed at the meeting was the concept of the upcoming constitutional reforms, and it is known that “Prosperous Armenia” is against it.
During the meeting Gagik Harutyunyan tried to convince Tsarukyan to change his approach about the constitutional reforms and allow discussing them in a quiet atmosphere when the draft is submitted for the discussion.
However Gagik Tsarukyan was resolute and once and again noted that he was against the constitutional reforms and will oppose till the end to prevent their implementation, and especially to changing the form of government of the country.”
