According to the NKR Defense Army, from the night of 22 and to the morning of 23 February, the Azerbaijan forces continued intense ceasefire violations in the Nagorno Kharabakh. The enemy violated the ceasefire regime on the line of contact firing more than 1600 shots from different caliber weapons, including D-44 type cannons and mortars towards Armenian positions. In particular, in eastern and north-eastern direction the Azerbaijan armed forces used D-44 type cannon and various caliber mortars, overall firing a total of 62 shells (10 from cannons and 52 from mortars).
The NKR Defense Army forces took preventive measures to suppress the Azerbaijan aggression, and as result Azerbaijan suffered at least one loss, which was reported by the Azerbajan Defense Ministry yesterday.
The front-line situation is completely under the control of the Defense Army of Nagorno Kharabakh.
