With the decision 715-n of 25 June the government allocated 98 million AMD to the stuff of Ministry of International Economic Integration and Reforms headed by Vache Gabrielyan, with the aim of supporting the regular activities of the ministry. 98 million AMD (approximately 205.000 USD) allocated from the reserve fund was spent on the purchase of office furniture.
The contract of the furniture purchase was signed with “Imany Holding” funded by Grigor Margaryan. The whole furniture was bought from one person without a not-previously-announced and negotiation procedure of the purchase.
So, chairs, closets, tables, armchairs and other furniture were bought. 9 collections of furniture for the Head’s office were bought, one of which cost 1.5 million AMD, and the rest 8 cost 1 million AMD.
19 furniture complexes (consisted of 1 three-seat sofa and 2 one-seat armchairs) were bought, each worth 720.000 AMD.
25 armchairs (with artificial leather cover, metallic frame and control system) each worth 125.000 AMD were bought for the Minister.
Tables for consultation are also expensive, worth from 405.000 to 630.000 AMD. From 47.500 to 56.000 AMD was paid for the chairs.
On 13 July Iravaban.net sent a written inquiry to Minister- Chief of Staff of RA Government Davit Harutyunyan for clarifying some details about this purchase, but there has been no response by now.
