The sit-in strike against the rise of electricity price is going on in Baghramyan Avenue. Koryun Davtyan, member of “No to Plunder!” civil initiative in the interview with Iravaban.net said that their struggle has a civil nature and there is not any any political motive in their demand.
He told that when on Monday morning the police violently dispersed the demonstration he and his friend were among the first who were arrested and brought to police departments. There were no pressures or violence against them in the police department, but they were wet and hungry and at least those issues could be solved.
