Early this morning, at 5:30 a.m., the policemen began the operation on release of Baghramyan Street from the demonstrators. Water cannons and special machine were used.
Just upon the beginning of the police operation on the order of Commander of the Police Troops of the RA, Deputy Head of the Police Levon Yeranosyan, the cameramen of www.1in.am Karen Chilingaryan, Hovsep Hovsepyan and Gor Hovhannisyan were assaulted severely and beaten. While knowing that Gor Harutyunan is a journalist of “First Armenian News and Analysis” Levon Yeranosyan specially ordered to destroy his digital camera and the device for the live broadcast.
