Participants of the protest action against the rise of electricity price are already at the beginning of Baghramyan Avenue. Shortly before the Ashot Karapetyan, Chief of Yerevan Police approached them and said that there are civil ways for the solution of the problem, he suggested the participants of the action to form a three member delegation for the meeting with the RA President. Later he invited five participants of the protest action to meet with the President.
But the protesters do not agree they are chanting that they shall coordinate. They demand that the President suspend the decision on the increase without any meeting.
As you remember on 17 June the electricity price was increased by 6,93 AMD.
