The Minister of Healthcare and the Minister of labor and Social Issues today referred to the issue of the increase in electricity price.
It will not have a significant impact on the health care system, mentioned Armen Muradyan, the RA Minister of Healthcare mentioned. Nevertheless, he said. “As a citizen of the Republic of Armenia, and a decent payer, for me this also causes some tension. But if we talk about health care, I think it will have no significant impact on the system. Most of it is not the maintenance costs of the health care system.”
According to Artem Sargsyan, the RA Minister of Labor and Social Issues, the ministry is carrying out analyses and there are no final decisions yet. As a Minister, Artem Asatryan said “Any increase is not effective for the population as a burden. On the other hand we have to consider the objective realities and the steps implemented by the government, which shall contribute to the solution of the problems.”
In reply to the journalists’ question about the impact of the increase in price of the electricity on Aram Asataryan’s family budget, the Minister said, “The same like for any average family.”
