38–year-old Mari Gevorgyan is accused in embezzlement of about 14 million AMD from the pension and benefit funds. The case is examined in the Court of General Jurisdiction of Malatia-Sebastya Administrative Districts of Yerevan, presiding Judge Robert Papoyan.
According to accusation, Mari Gevorgyan, working as a senior operator in the postal department No. 0065, in the period of February 2013 till May 2014, had appropriated around 13.759.393 AMD from the funds entrusted to her for distribution to the pensioners and beneficiaries, and thus caused causing property damage to “Haypost” CJSC.
Cognizance not to leave was chosen as measure of restraint against her.
