As a result of investigative activities conducted in the frames of the criminal case initiated by the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on the fact of a murder of a man (DoB 1972), a number of circumstances of the murder and the person apparently committed the murder were revealed. One person has been arrested on the suspicion of the murder․
Earlier we had informed that a criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of RA Investigative Committee on murder of 43 year-old man.
On June 3, 2015, at about 00:10 an unidentified man with numerous cut-pierced bleeding wounds on his neck, chest and upper limbs was taken to “Armenia” Republican Medical Center by the staff N 22 of ambulance service from the yard of the building 39, 16th district, Yerevan. The latter died in hospital without gaining consciousness.
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davitashen administrative districts according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code.
Through preliminary investigation the murdered person, who was a resident of Yerevan, was identified. Measures are taken to find the circumstances of murder, as well as to identify the person having committed the apparent crime.
Note: The suspect or the accused of the alleged offense is deemed innocent unless his or her innocence is proved by virtue of the effective court verdict in the manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia.
