The Information and Public Relations Department of the RA Investigation Committee informed Iravaban.net that the preliminary investigation carried out in Kindergarten #1 of Yeghvard City in the framework of the criminal case considered in Kotayk marz unite of the RA Investigation Committee revealed that the sanitary rules were not maintained in that kindergarten, which resulted in mass poisoning of dozens of kindergarten children, as well as of the employees and the people who communicated with them.
Based on the combination of the evidence obtained in the framework of the criminal cas the investigator decided to involve the Director of the Community Non-Profit Organization (CNPO) M. Manukyan and the nurse of the same kindergarten N. Arakelyan as defendants according to the requirement of Article 277 Part 1 of the RA Criminal Code (Breach of sanitation and epidemic regulations which negligently caused mass diseases or poisoning of humans).
Note: The suspect or the accused of the alleged offence is deemed innocent unless his or her innocence is proved by virtue of the effective court verdict in the manner prescribed by the Criminal Procedure Code of the Republic of Armenia.
