From today, 1 January, 2024, the Republic of Armenia assumed the presidency of the bodies of the Eurasian Economic Union. During 2024, RA will preside over the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Union’s website reports.

It is noted that the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council,dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the Eurasian Economic Union, the III Eurasian Economic Forum, the session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, as well as a number of other events will be held in Moscow within the framework of the presidency.

In the near future, the Prime Minister of Armenia, the President of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, and the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, Nikol Pashinyan, will make a speech on the priority directions during the Armenian presidency.
