After the rally called in Republic Square, the situation escalated. The participants of the rally started chanting “Nikol the traitor” and demanded the organizers of the rally to take effective steps.

At one point, a clash broke out between the police and the citizens, the police forcefully detained the citizens.

Some protesters call to withdraw and not give in to provocations.

In response to these demands, Andranik Tevanyan, head of the “Mother Armenia” Alliance, said that he was in favor of only change of power without chokes.

The Police warns the citizens gathered near the Government building that if they do not stop the actions, they will apply special measures.
