Information is being spread that Azerbaijan resorted to bombardment in the vicinity of Stepanakert, an air alert was activated. The Ministry of Defense of Artsakh has not issued an official statement yet.

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reports that local anti-terrorist measures have been launched in Artsakh to ensure the safety of Azerbaijani servicemen and to restore the constitutional order of Azerbaijan.

RA National Assembly deputy Tigran Abrahamyan also wrote on his page:

“Azerbaijan, making a false terrorist accusation against Artsakh, at this moment has opened fire at various military facilities, using various means and weapons.

Priority targets have been selected and are currently under fire. At the moment, it is not clear whether civilian objects are also being targeted or not, but the strikes continue.”

Let’s remind that the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan reported that on 19 September, around 11:45, the units of the Defense Forces violated the ceasefire regime in the Askeran region by using mortars and small firearms, as a result of which two servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces were injured, completely is false and does not correspond to reality.
