It turns out that yesterday a Telegram channel published absolutely false information that various internal and external forces are lobbying for my candidacy for the post of the President of the Republic of Artsakh.

Artak Beglaryan, the former adviser to the State Minister of the Republic of Artsakh, wrote on his Facebook page.

“I can unequivocally state that I have never discussed such a topic with anyone, even such an idea did not cross my mind, because I neither have nor had such a desire. And those who associate me with any external force should think about their clients. I’m not the type to turn to external power to solve an internal problem.

I will say more, I do not consider myself a suitable person for the position of the President, taking into account various circumstances. I am ready to personally serve my Motherland with all my abilities, but everyone should perform the service in the appropriate position and means.

Whoever is elected as the President of the Republic in accordance with the procedure provided by the Constitution, I am ready to support him as much as possible so that, especially in this most difficult period, he can lead Artsakh on the way to honorably overcome the enormous challenges we face.
