The Azerbaijani Armed Forces, in addition to small firearms of different calibers, use mortars as well in the direction of the Armenian positions located in the Sotk sector.

The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan, regularly spreading disinformation on 31 August and thus creating an information base for another provocation, on 1 September, starting at 07:50, opened intensive fire at the Armenian positions located in the Sotk area.
The Ministry of Defense will make an additional statement regarding the development of the situation.
