Ambassador Kristina Kvien visited the beginning of the Lachine Corridor, which has been closed to normal traffic for nearly three months. The Governor of Syunik, Robert Ghukasyan, presented to Ambassador Kvien the consequences of the blockade of the Lachin Corridor and its impact on hundreds of separated families.

Governor Ghukasyan also referred to the support provided by the state to the victims of the blockade.

Ambassador Kvien reiterated Secretary Blinken’s call for the immediate reopening of the Lachine Corridor.
