The Defender has submitted a resignation letter to the National Assembly in connection with changing to another job. The staff of the RA Human Rights Defender reported.

“On 23 January of this year, Human Rights Defender Kristinne Grigoryan submitted her resignation to the National Assembly in accordance with the law. According to the legislation, in this case, the Defender’s powers cease after submitting the resignation application by the latter, no later than in the case of another resignation application being submitted within one week.

Ms Grigoryan will inform the public about other work at the appropriate moment, and until then she will refrain from any comments on this topic.
