The delegation of the Department of Social Affairs and Psychological Support of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia visited Armenia from 19 to 20 October within the framework of cooperation in the field of social security of military personnel.

Aleksander Avetisyan, the Head of the Social Protection Department of the RA Ministry of Defense, welcomed the delegation. The partners were presented with the system of privileges and guarantees established by RA legislation for servicemen and their families, the programs implemented by the state in that direction, and other issues related to the social protection of servicemen were discussed.

As a result of the meeting, agreements regarding further cooperation in directions of mutual interest were reached.

The delegation of the Department of Social Affairs and Psychological Support of the Ministry of Defense of Georgia also held meetings at the Insurance Foundation for Servicemen and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
