On 1 September, a telephone conversation between the Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and the Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan took place at the initiative of the Armenian side.

According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, the parties discussed in detail the progress and prospects of the implementation of the trilateral agreements of 9 November, 11 January, 2021 and 26 November, 2021 between the leaders of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan.

“An agreement has been reached to continue contacts in the near future,” the Russian Foreign Ministry informed.
