According to the decision of the Government, lawyer Seda Safaryan was nominated for the post of judge of the Constitutional Court.

The candidate thanked the Government for their trust in her.

“I think my direct participation in the implementation of constitutional justice will be successful, and you will not regret nominating me as a candidate for that position,” Safaryan said.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan added that although the election will take place in the National Assembly, there is already a political decision regarding Safaryan’s election.

“We had discussions with our parliamentary colleagues, the issue was discussed and a decision was made in the administration of the “Civil Contract” Party. A political decision was made, which is logical,” he said.
