The transaction will be declared null and void: Nikol Pashinyan warned

“Reducing cash turnover is one of the most important directions of our reforms. Our planning is that from 1 July, it will no longer be possible to buy and sell apartments and cars in cash. All transactions must be non-cash,” Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at a government session today, on 2 June.

“There will be a provision that if there is a transaction with cash payments, the non-cash transfer will not be registered, it can become a basis for annulling the transaction. We want to simplify people’s lives with this. There are fiscal and anti-corruption effects here as well,” he said.
