Armenia is in the zone of influence of an active cyclone. The Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center reported.
On 9 March, in the afternoon, on the night of 9 to 10 March, in Shirak, Lori, Tavush foothills, Aragatsotn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor, Ararat mountainous areas, Gegharkunik, heavy snowfall is expected, in some parts snowstorm, low horizontal visibility.
“We urge drivers to travel to the mentioned areas only with winter tires,” the statement reads.
