“At this stage, I have not received any offer to join any party. Even if I receive such offer, I am not going to join any political force. I will be engaged in public activities,” Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan said today, on 23 February, during a farewell press conference.

He noted that such attempts were made during the parliamentary elections, but in all cases the attempts received a sharp response.

Referring to the issue of re-nomination for the second time, the Defender said that he could have work in such a way that he would be re-nominated for that position.

“For example, I could have stopped my public activities. Since it was not my task to run at any cost, I did my job as I should have done,” Arman Tatoyan said.
