On 17 January, the Head of the Human Rights and Integrity Building Center of the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Gevorg Martirosyan, visited the Yerevan Territorial Subdivision No. 4 of Conscription and Mobilization Service of the Ministry of Defense.

The purpose of the visit within the framework of the National Strategy for the Protection of Human Rights and Deriving Action Plan was to raise awareness of conscripts about the right to life and the prohibition of torture, as well as to inform them about the activities of the Human Rights and Integrity Building Center of the Ministry of Defense.

During the conversation with the conscripts, it was mentioned that the servicemen, as well as their family members, can receive clarifications on their rights, social guarantees and protection issues by calling the hotline number 1-28 of the Ministry of Defense.
