100% of servicemen of the Southern Military District in Armenia re-vaccinated against COVID-19

The servicemen of the military base of the Southern Military District of the Russian Federation in Armenia have completed the re-vaccination against a new coronavirus infection.

The press service of the Southern Military District reported that the second component of the vaccination is also given to the civilian staff, who are undergoing planned vaccination.

“The re-vaccination is processing according to plan. At the moment, the medical service has already re- vaccinated all the military personnel of the military base. The re- vaccination of civilian personnel is nearing completion. Head of the Medical Service, Major Vasily Paramonov said.

The re-vaccination is carried out on the basis of the regional military clinical hospital and medical units of the military base.

Mandatory medical examination is performed before each vaccination procedure. Physicians inform patients about the effects of Gam-COVID-Vac (Sputnik V) on the human body.

All servicemen, civilian staff, and their families are under medical supervision for half an hour after the vaccine is injected.
