An urgent hearing on Armen Charchyan’s case shall be convened today at 15:30, his lawyer Erik Aleksanyan wrote on his Facebook page.
He said that the medical commission has already been set up.
Armen Charchyan, elected MP from the list of “Armenia” Parties Alliance, was arrested in connection with the case of forcing the employees of “Izmirlian” MC to participate in the snap elections within the framework of the RA SIS criminal case under Article 154.2, Part 4, Clause 2 of the RA Criminal Code on suspicion of committing a premeditated crime (bribery, bribery of voters, violation of the ban on charity during elections or obstruction of the exercise of the voter’s free will).
The court upheld the motion to detain Armen Charchyan as a measure of restraint. Charchyan denies the accusation.
