From the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic in the Republic of Armenia until 30 September, 1566 cases of recurrent infection were registered.

The Ministry of Health reported in response to a written inquiry by Iravaban․net.

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Health, since the beginning of vaccinations against COVID-19 on 26 September, 408,535 vaccinations have been carried out, of which 264,695 citizens received the first dose, of which 83,306 “AstraZeneca”, 44,769 “CoronaVac”, 65,426 “Sputik- V”, and 71,194 “Sinopharm”. 143,840 citizens received the second dose, of which “AstraZeneca” – 33,573, “CoronaVac” – 41,213, “Sputnik-V” 58,590.

1,566 cases of recurrent coronavirus have been registered in the Republic of Armenia since the beginning of the epidemic.

In the inquiry,Iravaban․net asked to provide information on vaccinations among foreigners in the territory of the Republic of Armenia, but we did not receive a complete picture. Instead, the Ministry noted that statistics on foreign nationals are summarized and published on a monthly basis.

Data of the Ministry of Health as of 5 September․

As we have already informed , on 5 October, another vaccine was imported to Armenia – 50 thousand doses of “Spikevax” donated by the Lithuanian “Moderna” company to the Republic of Armenia from the Lithuanian government.

According to the data published by the Ministry, as of 5 October in Armenia ․

• a total of 266,208 cases of coronavirus disease were confirmed
• 1,761,967 tests were performed,
• there are 5419 fatal cases,
• with a coronavirus infection, but due to another disease, 1,220 people died.
