The President of the Artsakh Republic Arayik Harutyunyan reports.

“Dear compatriots,

Yesterday, on 16 May, I visited Yeghtsahogh, Mets Shen, Hin Shen-Lisagor communities of Shushi region. We discussed with the locals the security, socio-economic challenges and problems in the post-war period, the steps to be taken to solve them.”

In Yeghdahogh community, the President said that the most important thing is to keep Karabakh Armenian, this is our problem.

“We must rule out war, choose a path to a peaceful life, and we do that. We need to develop our socio-economic programs, and together with the implementation of those programs, think about more far-reaching programs,” the President said.

He mentioned that they will make a plan to build 10-15 houses, they should make sure that there are not less than 300 people in the village.

In the village of Mets Shen he said that asphalting works will start next year.

“We want to make sure that the old residents come back. If they do not come, we must re-inhabit those areas,” he said.
