Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan wrote on his Facebook page, “Today I received Colonel Dmitry Shuvarkin, First Deputy Military Prosecutor of the Southern Military District of the Russian Armed Forces, a member of the Russian peacekeeping forces.

During the meeting we discussed the humanitarian situation in Artsakh due to the Azerbaijani aggression.

In this context, I welcomed the establishment of an interdepartmental humanitarian response center in Stepanakert by the order of the Russian Defense Minister within the framework of the implementation of the Russian President’s decree “On Additional Measures for the Establishment of Peace in Nagorno Karabakh.

Both sides highlighted the start of the process of exchanging of the Armenian prisoners of war and other detainees and the bodies of victims.”
