On the initiative of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) mission of the Russian peacekeeping troops in Artsakh to control the ceasefire regime, with the active participation of the State Emergency Situations Service of Azerbaijan, the bodies of servicemen killed during the war were exchanged today.
The director of the State Emergency Service, Major General Karen Sargsyan, emphasized the mission for both sides, emphasizing that the service is ready for any work for humanitarian purposes.
In the second half of the day, several rescue teams were directly involved in the search and exchange of bodies.
The humanitarian work of the rescuers was coordinated on the spot by Karen Sargsyan, in cooperation with the commanders of the Russian peacekeeping contingent and representatives of the ICRC mission.
