The Artsakh Human Rights Defender has updated his interim report, adding the recent events

The Human Rights Defender of the Artsakh Republic has updated his second interim report on the Azerbaijani crimes against the population of Artsakh, including the new cases and facts registered from 9 to 12 October. The staff of the Artsakh Human Rights Defender reports.

As of 12 October, a total of 31 civilians had been killed, including 1 little girl, 7 women and 23 men. Eighteen of them were killed at their place of residence (including a young girl and five women), three at work, and 10 in other public places (central square, district, etc.). Deaths were registered in Stepanakert (10 people), Martuni (6 people), Hadrut (6 people) and Martakert (3 people), Alashan settlement of Martakert region (1 person), Zaglik (1 person) and near Mets Shen community ( 1 person), in Aygestan community of Askeran region (2 people) and in Tigranakert precinct (1 person).

A total of 106 people were injured, of which 86 were seriously injured. 70 of the latter are male and 16 are female.

Forty-five of the injured were injured immediately at their place of residence, six on the way to a relatively safe place, 12 at work, and 23 in other public places.

According to the verified data, 36 people were seriously injured in Stepanakert city or adjacent areas, 5 people in Hadrut regional center of Hadrut, 2 people in Taghaser community, 1 person in Vardashat community of the same region, 15 people in Martuni regional center of Martuni, 1 person in Spitakshen community 2 people in Martakert regional center of Martakert, 6 people in Maghavuz community, 2 people in Nerkin Horatagh community, 3 people in Alashan settlement, 1 person in Mataghis community of the same region, 2 people in Karvachar community of Shahumyan region, 2 people in Shushi 3 persons, 1 person in Askeran regional center of Askeran, 2 persons in Aygestan community of the same region, 1 person in Shosh community, 3 persons in Hochants community of Kashatagh region.

Since 27 September, the Azerbaijani armed forces have targeted more than 120 civilian settlements in the Artsakh Republic, resulting in the destruction or damage of numerous infrastructures and private property. In particular, according to preliminary data, more than 6,700 privately owned real estates (houses, shops, etc.), more than 640 cars, about 1,110 infrastructure, public and industrial facilities were seriously damaged.
